Manipulating previous works

I have taken previous works over the development of my textural practice and manipulated them further, creating more texture within them. The sensory experience of my work is very important to me and so feeling depth within my art is a necessity – it is interesting to see these works that at the time I believed to be textural when in hindsight they were quite flat experiments. I aim to develop my stitching and embroidery skills further over the term, perhaps bridging the line between texture and three dimensional work.
